Yes — licensed professionals, and often the most knowledgeable people you’ll meet about their specific community. They represent the builder, which is disclosed. Respect them, learn from them, and just be clear about whose side of the table their obligations sit on.

What happens if I visit a model home without an agent?

More than almost anything else on this page. New construction is more technical than resale — custom contracts, non-refundable deposits, design center selections, deadlines.
